AFPI’S CENTER FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY COMMENDS TEXAS GOVERNOR & STATE LEGISLATURE FOR SIGNING INTO LAW COMMON SENSE ELECTION REFORMS
September 08, 2021
Hogan Gidley, Director of the Center for Election Integrity, offered the following statement:
“In the face of a relentless smear campaign and false accusations, Texas fought for what was right - signing into law common sense election integrity legislation. America First Policy Institute applauds the Legislature and the Governor for implementing crucial safeguards that protect voters and help restore trust and confidence in their election process. AFPI encourages other states to model the Texas election integrity bill and pass their own voter protection measures that make it easy to vote and hard to cheat.”
