National Women’s Engagement Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AFPI's women's engagement strategy, ensuring it aligns with the Pathway to 2025 objectives and the broader mission of AFPI.
- Establish and nurture relationships with women leaders, organizations, and groups across target states, emphasizing the impact of America First policies on women's issues and opportunities.
- Organize and manage women-centric initiatives, including workshops, seminars, networking events, and community outreach programs, to promote awareness and support for America First policies.
- Lead the coordination of events aimed at women's outreach, including stakeholder meetings, conferences at AFPI HQ and nationwide, and other relevant activities as directed by leadership.
- Work closely with AFPI's communications team to amplify our message through op-eds, social media campaigns, and public speaking engagements, focusing on the importance of policies that benefit women and families.
- Build coalitions with national and state organizations focused on women's issues to enhance collaboration and maximize impact.
- Engage with AFPI’s digital team to craft and execute a dynamic online engagement strategy targeting women.
- Proactively identify opportunities for new projects and potential support, communicating these to AFPI leadership.
- Handle requests for AFPI to participate in women-focused initiatives, directing these to the appropriate personnel within the organization.
- Provide regular updates on women's engagement efforts, including details on stakeholder interactions, event planning, and outreach activities.
- Perform additional tasks as agreed upon mutually.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in women's engagement, advocacy, or related fields, with a deep understanding of issues affecting women and how they intersect with America First policies.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and unite diverse groups around common objectives.
- Strategic and analytical thinker, capable of designing and implementing effective engagement strategies.
- Independent worker who is deeply committed to the values and goals of AFPI and has the ability to mobilize support among women for America First policies.
