The America First Policy Institute is partnering with media outlet Real America’s Voice and data technology leader Campaign Nucleus to provide the American people with real-time coverage of the State of the Union address. Coverage titled “Pulse of the People” will begin at 7:00 p.m. (EST) on February 7, 2023. The broadcast will provide viewers with coverage of President Joe Biden’s speech with exclusive real-time social media trends that people will not find anywhere else.

“Every major media outlet will provide wall-to-wall coverage of President Biden’s address, but this partnership will enable viewers to see on-screen data analyzing social media reactions from traditional battleground states,” said Chad Wolf, Executive Director of America First Policy Institute. “This unique perspective from Real America’s Voice’s talented team of journalists and AFPI’s policy experts will provide viewers with insights and analysis they won’t find anywhere else.”
Veteran journalists Ed Henry and Karyn Turk, co-anchors of American Sunrise on Real America’s Voice, will anchor coverage with a live studio audience from New York City. They will be joined by Marc Lotter, Chief Communications Officer at AFPI, and Chad Wolf. Hogan Gidley, Vice Chair of AFPI’s Center for Election Integrity, will also join the on-air team reporting live with a group from North Carolina.

Viewers will see whether responses trend positive or negative in terms of policy while also judging the overall reaction to the address. The 2023 State of the Union will be broadcast at 9:00 p.m. (EST) with reaction and analysis following the speech, including the official response from Arkansas Governor Sarah Sanders.
