The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) is seeking an accomplished Director of Research to lead our research efforts and oversee the production of high-impact policy publications. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in research management, a deep alignment with America First principles, and a mastery of writing, editing, and scholarly standards. The Center Director for the Center for Education Opportunity will work with the Chief Policy Officer, Center Chair, Board of Academic Advisors, and the Center Advisory Board, among other leaders of the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) to develop strategic vision and operational plans for the Center for Education Opportunity and oversee the execution of AFPI’s education-related policy initiatives. The Director will play a key leadership role in advancing education freedom, parental rights, school choice, and restoring excellence in American education.

The Executive Director for AFPI-WI will work with the AFPI-WI chair and the rest of the AFPI leadership team to develop AFPI-WI’s strategic vision and operational plans and manage the execution of those plans within the state. This includes coordinating policy, communications, and engagement efforts across the state in partnership with AFPI’s Washington, D.C., headquarters staff.

The Executive Director for AFPI-NM will work with the AFPI-NM chair and the rest of the AFPI leadership team to develop AFPI-NM’s strategic vision and operational plans and manage the execution of those plans within the state. CFL is AFPI’s public interest law firm and seeks to blaze new paths to protect and defend constitutional freedoms and America First policy priorities against the egregious overreach of Big Tech, Big Media, and Big Government.

The Campaign Director (CD), Secure the Border & Defeat the Cartels will be the primary driver of the Secure the Border & Defeat the Cartels policy campaign’s objectives, including policy development, coalition building, communications and digital strategy, and state engagement. Main responsibilities include coordinating the strategic development of policy recommendations, measuring the impact of the campaign’s output, collaborating with key stakeholders on priorities, and managing team dynamics.

The Campaign Director (CD), Restore Law & Order / End Weaponization of Government will be the primary driver of the Restore Law & Order / End Weaponization of Government policy campaign’s objectives – including policy development, coalition building, communications and digital strategy, and state engagement. Main responsibilities include coordinating the strategic development of policy recommendations, measuring the impact of the campaign’s output, collaborating with key stakeholders on priorities, and managing team dynamics.

The Campaign Director (CD), Create a Strong Economy will be the primary driver of the Create a Strong Economy policy campaign’s objectives – including policy development, coalition building, communications and digital strategy, and state engagement. Main responsibilities include coordinating the strategic development of policy recommendations, measuring the impact of the campaign’s output, collaborating with key stakeholders on priorities, and managing team dynamics.

This team member will serve as a key member of the AFPI Development team and be responsible for overseeing a substantial portion of AFPI’s major gift portfolio. The Senior Development Officer will help with all development efforts in close coordination with the President and CEO, the Chief Development Officer, and the Director of Development Operations.
