On August 7, 2023, nearly two years after the Biden Administration began its chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, Congress held a public forum featuring the Gold Star families of all thirteen Marines killed during the early days of the withdrawal. Today, we have an opportunity to learn more about what really happened – what they were told and saw, the importance of their testimonies, and what steps can be taken to hold the Biden Administration accountable. The America First Policy Institute is proud to convene a discussion moderated by Fred Fleitz, Vice Chair of the Center for American Security, and featuring Lt. Gen. (Ret.)
