AFPI Urges the Senate to Hold Impeachment Trial for Secretary Mayorkas

Washington D.C. – Today, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) released the following statement urging the Senate to fulfill its constitutional duty by holding a thorough impeachment trial for Secretary Mayorkas:

"The American people expect and deserve the Senate to fulfill its constitutional duty of holding an impeachment trial for Secretary Mayorkas. In the face of the worst national security and humanitarian crisis along the southern border, now is the time for change. Dismissing this trial would send a dangerous message that political expediency trumps the safety and security of our nation. Secretary Mayorkas' blatant disregard for his duties fuels the worst border crisis in American history. The Senate must not ignore this, as it would betray public trust and undermine democracy's core principles.”
