AFPI Congratulates Daniel Noboa on Presidential Election Victory in Ecuador

Washington, D.C. – Today, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) congratulates President Daniel Noboa on his victory in Ecuador’s national Presidential election. We commend the Ecuadorian people for their commitment to democracy and their success in carrying out a free and fair electoral process. A functioning democracy in the Western Hemisphere is not only vital to regional stability but also to the shared values that underpin the U.S.-Ecuador relationship.

From stopping illegal migration from China to securing our borders, combatting drug trafficking, and optimizing the strategic use of the U.S. Air base in Manta, there is opportunity to advance initiatives that serve these shared values and promote prosperity, sovereignty, and security throughout the region.
