America First Unfiltered: Major Wins from President Trump’s White House – Feb. 28, 2025
Welcome to America First Unfiltered: The People's Agenda—your briefing on the massive wins from the White House that put you, the American people, first.
Just days after celebrating the one-month anniversary of President Trump’s second administration, the numbers are in. From the deportation of criminal illegal immigrants—arrests are up 627% over last month—to the Department of Justice reigning in billions of dollars in wasteful government spending, to keeping men out of women’s sports and imposing reciprocal tariffs, the momentum is undeniable.
New polling confirms overwhelming support for President Trump’s policies and actions. This week, the president hosted his first Cabinet meeting since taking office—a proud moment for the America First Policy Institute, with seven of our leadership alumni tapped to deliver on the president’s agenda.
In a major win for the American people, President Trump signed an executive order to lower healthcare costs by ensuring hospitals and insurers commit to price transparency—a move projected to save up to $80 billion for Americans, employers, and insurers.
Next, tackling skyrocketing food prices, President Trump’s USDA, helmed by Secretary Brooke Rollins, announced a five-point plan to make eggs affordable again. This includes a $1 billion investment to combat the bird flu epidemic, address overpopulation in the poultry industry, and ensure stable food prices. Additionally, the administration ended food stamp benefits for illegal aliens—ensuring that taxpayers are no longer burdened with funding benefits for those in the country illegally.
In a bold move against the weaponization of government, President Trump suspended the security clearances of lawyers at a D.C. law firm who assisted former Special Counsel Jack Smith—a figure known for a troubling record of failed or politically motivated prosecutions against prominent figures, including President Trump.
The America First Policy Institute applauds the many decisive actions taken by the Trump administration that put the American people first.
