Protect Women and Women’s Sports

When biological men compete in women’s sports, they threaten both the safety of female athletes and the integrity of women’s sports.

On average, compared to women, men have:

  • Greater muscle mass
  • stronger bones
  • larger heart
  • larger lung capacity
  • higher red blood cell counts

This provides significant strength and endurance advantages to male athletes which makes competition with female athletes manifestly unfair.

CeCé Telfer RANKED 200TH & 390TH AS A MALE 1ST AS A FEMALE:

When CeCé Telfer, a transgender female (biological male), ran track as a man in 2016 and 2017, he was ranked 200th and 390th in the 400M hurdle. After transitioning, Telfer went on to win the Division II Women’s National Championship in the 400M hurdle in 2019.

Lia Thomas RANKED 554TH & 65TH AS A MALE 5TH & 1ST AS A FEMALE

In National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I swimming competitions, transgender female (biological male) Lia Thomas went from being ranked 554th and 65th in the men’s 200yd and 500yd freestyle, respectively, to 5th and 1st in the women’s events.

Due to size and strength advantages of male puberty, transgender athletes threaten the safety of female athletes in many sports.

In April 2022, a transgender female (biological male) high school rugby player injured three female players in one game.

In North Carolina, a transgender female (biological male) high school volleyball player spiked the volleyball so hard that it left an opposing female player with “trauma to the head and neck” and “long-term concussion symptoms.”

ALLOWING MEN IN WOMEN’S SPORTS

  • Gives biological males access to intimate spaces where women are vulnerable, including locker rooms and bathrooms.
  • Biological males in intimate women’s spaces creates opportunities for sexual assault, including rape.

80& of registered voters agree with the following statement: Every American should be treated equally, but it’s important to acknowledge that there are significant biological differences between men and women.

Nearly 70% of U.S. Adults Say transgender atheletes should be allowed to compete only on sports teams that correspond with the sexes they were assigned at birth.

67% of registered voters believe Biological males have an unfair advantage competing against biological females in women’s sports.

The Biden Administration has aggressively pushed new Title IX regulations to open female athletics to biological males.
