Illegal Immigration Remains at Record High Under Biden-Harris Administration’s Failed Policies
DEBUNKING THE CLAIM THAT THE BIDEN-HARRIS BORDER POLICIES ARE WORKING
CLAIM: “Border crossings are lower today than when the previous administration left office.”
FACT: In January 2021, when the Biden-Harris Administration took office, there were only 111,000 illegal aliens encountered at the southern border, including estimated “gotaways.” In June 2024, the total number of southern border “encounters,” “gotaways,” and CHNV parolees was 215,000 – more than 100,000 higher than the Trump Administration’s last month.
FACT: Since March 2021, the Biden-Harris Administration has recorded higher levels of monthly unlawful border “encounters” than any month of the Trump Administration.
FACT: The total “encounters” of illegal aliens under the Biden-Harris Administration through June 2024 is 8.2 million MORE than the entire Trump Administration.
