President Trump Takes Real Action to Protect Women
PRESIDENT TRUMP SIGNS TWO EXECUTIVE ORDERS TO PROTECT THE SANCTITY OF WOMEN-ONLY SPACES.
THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WILL RECOGNIZE ONLY TWO SEXES: MALE AND FEMALE
- An executive order signed by President Trump, “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government,” protects “intimate single-sex spaces,” including bathrooms and domestic abuse shelters, from opposite-sex intrusion.
- The executive order rightfully recognizes that, when the definition of “woman” is distorted based on a “subjective sense of self unmoored from biological facts,” laws and policies designed to “protect sex-based opportunities” become “laws and policies that undermine them.”
- President Biden had previously instructed all federal agencies to apply Title IX prohibitions regarding sex-based discrimination to cover gender identity assertions. This revision of the plain meaning of Title IX of the 1972 Education Amendments to the Civil Rights Act forced recipients of federal education funds to allow men and boys into programs and facilities intended for exclusive use by women and girls.
- Federal prisons will now ensure women are housed separately from men. Across the Nation, such policies were taken as a given until recent years. In state penitentiaries in California, Washington, and New York, male prisoners asserting a female gender identity have the option of serving their sentences in women’s prisons. Unsurprisingly, sexual assaults and pregnancies are increasingly common in ostensibly women-only prisons. For example, in California, Tremaine Carroll, a 52-year-old man who uses “she/her” pronouns, was recently charged with raping two of his cellmates after having previously impregnated a third.
MEN WILL NOT COMPETE IN WOMEN’S SPORTS
- A second executive order, titled “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports,” recognizes that it is unfair and illogical to allow men to compete in women’s sports.
- Men have greater muscle mass and testosterone production, making them stronger and faster. Serena Williams, widely considered the greatest female tennis player ever, once said:
- “Men’s tennis and women’s tennis are completely, almost two separate sports.” She said if she were to play Andy Murray, she “would lose 6–0, 6–0 in five to six minutes” because the men are “a lot faster, and they serve harder, they hit harder. It’s just a different game.”
- Federal agencies will now enforce Title IX to ensure that any educational programs that allow men to participate in women’s sports cannot receive access to federal funding.
- As a result of President Trump’s swift action, the National Collegiate Athletic Association has already announced that they will no longer allow men to compete in women’s sports.
