Statement from Chad Wolf on Biden’s Border “Action”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Chad Wolf, former Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, and AFPI’s Executive Director and Chair of the Center for Homeland Security & Immigration released the following statement on President Biden’s border announcement:

"Biden's Executive Order is an indictment of his administration’s failed border security policies for the past three and half years. The order maintains record levels of unlawful border crossings and does nothing to end catch and release, the use of the CBPOne app, and the unlawful use of parole authority. Instead of political grandstanding, it’s time to take bold action to bring this crisis to a close. Today’s announcement is not that action."
