Kevin Cabrera
Executive Director, AFPI Florida Chapter & Senior Advisor, National Hispanic Affairs
Kevin Cabrera is Executive Director of the America First Policy Institute’s Florida Chapter and Senior Advisor for National Hispanic Affairs. He also represents the constituents of District 6 in the Miami-Dade (FL) Board of Commissioners. Prior to entering public service, Cabrera served as Florida State Director for the Republican National Committee and President Donald J. Trump’s re-election campaign.
He has experience advocating for our community at the federal, state, and local levels of government. He previously served as Director of Constituent Services for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and oversaw political initiatives at the federal, state, and local levels.
In 2015, Cabrera was appointed Councilman for West Kendall’s Community Council, a local land use and zoning board in Miami-Dade County. He was subsequently elected to a full term in 2016.
Cabrera was born in Miami to Cuban exiles. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida International University, where he graduated cum laude.
