Mike Vallante is originally from Rhode Island and currently serves as the Director for AFPI’s Center for Election Integrity. Mike has more than 40 years of experience in campaigns, public affairs, and business consulting. He has owned two small businesses in Rhode Island and California, working for clients around the country, including candidates, non-profit organizations, associations, and political organizations. In his first campaign, Mike helped elect the first Republican mayor of Providence, Rhode Island, in 40 years and went on to manage the campaign for the first woman elected to statewide office in Rhode Island. From 2003 to 2007, he served as the Chief Operating Officer/Executive Director of the California Republican Party for the successful recall of a California Governor. In 2011, he became the Chief of Staff to the co-Chairman of the Republican National Committee. Most recently, he served in the Small Business Administration as an Associate Administrator of Field Operations. Mike’s passion is dog rescue, especially older dogs that have medical conditions.
