Stephanie Whitt
Chief State Action and Engagement Officer
Stephanie serves as AFPI's Chief State Action and Engagement Officer after serving for the past 7 years as the COO and Executive Vice President of the Beacon Center of Tennessee and their advocacy arm Beacon Impact. Whitt previously served as an Assistant Commissioner for the Tennessee Department of Human Services under Governor Haslam and as a Committee Research Analyst for the Tennessee State Senate. She has over a decade of experience in government affairs, strategic communication, policy development, and issue advocacy. Stephanie and her husband live in Nashville, Tennessee with their two children.
