Scores of our America First Policy Institute thought leaders were present to advance the America First agenda and policies that work for all Americans. From small private events with leaders and AFPI policy programming to dozens of media hits and multiple mainstage speeches, our team was woven into everything happening in Milwaukee.

Monday, July 15th

The first day highlighted the importance of a thriving economy as the cornerstone of a prosperous nation. It emphasized that rebuilding America starts with the America First Agenda and its policies that uplift all citizens.

AFPI Board Member and Chair of the Hispanic Leadership Coalition Bob Unanue delivered a powerful keynote speech, sharing his family's American Dream story. Bob followed in his grandfather's footsteps, who immigrated to America and started a small grocery store in Manhattan. Through love, determination, and hard work, Bob transformed the business into Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States. His career at Goya spans over 45 years, starting at a young age and working his way up to President and CEO.

Unanue's speech was a poignant reminder of the opportunities America offers and a critique of the current administration. He highlighted the destructive impact of the Biden-Harris Administration's policies over the past three-and-a-half years, including the devastation at our southern border and the detrimental effects of inflation and government overreach on businesses. He passionately argued for the need to return to the America First policies that foster economic growth and prosperity for all.

Chad Wolf, AFPI Executive Director and Former DHS Acting Secretary, made several media appearances. During his live analysis at Fiserv, Wolf shared his experiences working for former President Trump and stressed the importance of America First policies. He highlighted that our nation is at a critical moment and that it is necessary to secure our borders to protect American citizens. "The message, again, is going to be that America First message," Wolf stated, emphasizing the stark contrast between the policies of the Trump administration and those of the current Biden-Harris administration.

Tuesday, July 16th

The second day focused on security issues at home and abroad. AFPI speakers and special guests discussed the essential measures needed to ensure the safety and security of American communities.

Two major highlights of the day included AFPI's Policy Forum at the Pfister Hotel and the Programming on the our own mainstage. Notable figures such as Linda McMahon, Brooke Rollins, Chad Wolf, General Keith Kellogg, David Bernhardt, and Hogan Gidley participated in these events. They focused on America First policies necessary to restore law and order, support law enforcement, and ensure community safety.

The day was packed with significant discussions and events reinforcing the commitment to policies protecting American citizens. The speakers emphasized the importance of supporting law enforcement and implementing policies safeguarding communities from crime and violence.

Wednesday, July 17th

On the third day, the focus shifted to foreign affairs. Discussions centered on national security and foreign policy, addressing ongoing crises in Europe and the Middle East. Former administration officials provided valuable insights into the challenges and strategies needed to strengthen America's position on the global stage.

The day featured two major book signings. David Bernhardt, AFPI's Chair of the Center for American Freedom and former Secretary of the Interior, signed copies of his new book "You Report to Me: Accountability for the Failing Administrative State." In his book, Bernhardt provides a firsthand account of the growing power of the administrative state over the past two decades and highlights President Trump's leadership in curbing bureaucracy.

Riley Gaines, a former competitive swimmer and advocate for fairness in women's sports, also held a book signing for her new book "Swimming Against The Current: Fighting for Common Sense in a World That's Lost Its Mind." Gaines champions equal opportunities and a level playing field for female athletes, exposing the dangers of remaining silent about the injustices women face from radical agendas.

Following the book signings, AFPI public programming featured speeches from prominent figures such as Donald Trump Jr., Charlie Kirk, Riley Gaines, and Lee Zeldin. A large audience gathered to hear these voices speak the truth and advocate for America First policies.

Then that evening, Kellyanne Conway spoke on the main stage, praising former President Trump's transformative impact on the nation. She highlighted Trump's commitment to serving the American people despite not needing the position for personal gain. Conway reflected on her unique experience as Trump's 2016 campaign manager, the first woman to lead a successful presidential campaign, and the pro-woman, pro-working mom environment Trump fostered in leadership roles in the White House.

Emphasizing Trump's dedication to policies that promote national security, economic growth, and support for law enforcement, Conway underscored the necessity of his strong leadership to achieve these results. She concluded by calling for unity and urging support to continue advancing the America First agenda.

Thursday, July 18th

The final day emphasized a vision for prosperity and safety, outlining policies for enhancing national security, boosting the economy, and strengthening support for allies like Israel. Key topics included border security, economic tariffs, and reinforced support for Israel to ensure prosperity and safety for American families.

AFPI held two major events: a joint AFPI Hispanic Leadership Reception with America First Works and a book signing with Morgan Ortagus, General Keith Kellogg, and Chad Wolf. The Hispanic Leadership Reception, co-hosted by Entravision and the Hispanic Leadership Coalition, focused on the America First Agenda and its benefits for all Americans. Bob Unanue of Goya Foods delivered a compelling speech, highlighting the growing support within the Hispanic community for America First policies.

The book signing event allowed attendees to engage with influential leaders and gain insights into the policies shaping America's future. The final day's events underscored the commitment to policies that enhance national security, support economic growth, and strengthen alliances with key partners like Israel.

That afternoon Larry Kudlow sat down with Kellyanne Conway and Brooke Rollins on his number one rated show on Fox Business to discuss Donald Trump's focus on policy and unity. Conway emphasized President Trumps record compared with Biden’s, stressing improvements in security, safety, and affordability under his administration. Rollins noted that 85% of Americans support the America First agenda, including secure borders, school choice, and peace through strength. They both reflected on Trump's history of unifying efforts and his continued policy-driven leadership. The conversation underscored the contrast between Trump’s transparency and the lack of it in the current administration.

The evening concluded with our very own, Linda McMahon, Chair of the America First Policy Institute, speaking on the mainstage. In her speech she highlighted her personal and professional relationship with former President Donald Trump, showing him as a loving grandfather, a supportive colleague, and a dedicated president. She recounted a touching story of Trump with his granddaughter, illustrating his affectionate side.

McMahon shared her experiences working with former President Trump during her tenure as CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment and later as head of the Small Business Administration, emphasizing his understanding and support for small businesses. She noted the significant impact of the Trump Tax Cuts, which fueled business growth and economic prosperity.

McMahon also recalled a poignant moment in 2018 when she and former President Trump visited her hurricane-stricken hometown of New Bern, North Carolina, where he displayed genuine empathy and practical advice to the affected residents. She contrasted Trump Administration policies with those of the current administration, criticizing the Biden-Harris policies which raise taxes on small businesses. McMahon praised the previous administrations stance on tariffs for China and its unwavering support for American workers.
