AFPI Announces New Appointments to Support America First Policies
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) is proud to announce two appointments that reflect its continued growth and unwavering commitment to advancing the principles of the America First movement. Emily Moreno has been named Director of Government Affairs, and Stacey Schieffelin will serve as Chair of the Women’s Initiative and Senior Advisor.
Emily Moreno brings extensive experience in public affairs and political campaigns to her role as Director of Government Affairs. In this position, Emily will contribute to the development and execution of strategies to advance America First policies at both the state and federal levels, including support for America First nominees.
“Emily Moreno is a proven leader with an impressive political strategy and campaign management background,” said Brooke Rollins, AFPI’s President and CEO. “Her expertise in driving effective campaigns and dedication to advancing the principles of the America First movement make her an invaluable addition to our growing team. We are thrilled to have her on board.”
Moreno’s background includes serving as a fundraising consultant with Big Dog Strategies and managing Bernie Moreno’s Senate campaign in Ohio (2021-2022), where she led teams and advanced strategic initiatives. During her tenure with the Republican National Committee and Trump Victory campaign (2019-2021), Moreno contributed to the largest field operation in presidential history, coordinated 72-hour ground efforts in key states, and developed political playbooks that shaped voter engagement and turnout strategies nationwide.
In addition, Stacey Schieffelin, a globally recognized entrepreneur and advocate for women’s empowerment, will lead AFPI’s Women’s Initiative and serve as Senior Advisor. Her new role underscores AFPI’s dedication to policies that empower women to thrive in their communities, careers, and families.
In this capacity, Schieffelin will focus on economic empowerment, leadership development, family support, and community engagement. Her leadership builds on her impactful work as Senior Advisor to the Chair of the Board and Senior Advisor for AFPI’s Center for the American Worker, where she championed workforce development and economic opportunity policies.
“Stacey Schieffelin has been a trailblazer in empowering women to reach their full potential,” said Brooke Rollins. “Her entrepreneurial expertise and dedication to advancing opportunities for women make her the ideal leader for this initiative as we work to ensure America’s women are equipped to succeed and lead.”
Schieffelin is the founder and CEO of an internationally recognized cosmetics brand, where she pioneered efforts to equip women with tools to enhance their confidence and success. She has also developed platforms for entrepreneurship, mentorship, and leadership training, aligning perfectly with the goals of AFPI’s Women’s Initiative.
Under Schieffelin’s leadership, the Women’s Initiative will expand its efforts to champion policies that prioritize families, foster economic growth, and create leadership opportunities, while recognizing women’s vital contributions to every facet of American life.
