Mike Faulkender joined Ringside Politics on Real America’s Voice to discuss the economy.

Michael Faulkender, Vice Chair of the Center for American Prosperity and Chief Economist at the America First Policy Institute recently appeared on Ringside Politics on Real America’s Voice to discuss the current state of the economy. Faulkender highlighted the stark contrast between the economic policies of the Biden administration and those of the previous administration under President Trump.

Faulkender criticized President Biden for attempting to deceive the American public about the state of the economy he inherited. He emphasized that when Trump left office, the economy was on a strong recovery path, with significant gains in economic activity and job recovery following the pandemic-induced downturn. Faulkender pointed out that 90% of the economic activity lost during the pandemic had been regained, along with more than 60% of lost jobs, attributing the slower full recovery to ongoing lockdowns in blue states.

Moreover, Faulkender underscored the critical role of Operation Warp Speed in delivering vaccines, which contributed to the strong economic growth of over 5% in the quarter when Biden assumed office. He argued that Biden's subsequent policies, characterized by excessive spending and regulatory overreach, have led to increased inflation and economic hardship for Americans.

Faulkender concluded by advocating for a return to America First policies to restore high growth, low inflation, and rising real wages, emphasizing that such policies benefit working Americans the most.
