One Judge. One Ruling. One Nation Put on Hold.

What happens when one unelected judge halts the will of the people? When one courtroom decision overrides the President of the United States and puts the America First agenda on ice? Welcome to the dangerous world of nationwide injunctions.

These injunctions allow a single federal judge—often in a deep-blue district—to block laws and executive orders for every American, not just the parties involved in the case. It’s a backdoor veto that gives one unelected individual the power to rewrite national policy from the bench.

The Latest Example: National Security Blocked

On Friday, March 28 President Trump filed an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court. Why? Because a lone district judge issued a nationwide injunction that blocked the deportation of alleged members of a Venezuelan gang designated as a foreign terrorist organization.

The Trump Administration warned this order forces the U.S. to harbor individuals who pose a known threat to our citizens. One judge has effectively overruled our Commander in Chief—and put American lives at risk.

Where Did This Power Come From?

Nationwide injunctions are a recent invention—they didn’t exist at our nation’s founding. They crept into legal practice during the 1960s and were used sparingly for decades. Between then and 2015, only 63 were issued.

But that all changed under President Trump’s first administration.

  • 64 nationwide injunctions were issued against President Trump—more than all previous presidents combined.
  • 92% of these came from Democrat-appointed judges.

And now, in President Trump’s second term, he’s already facing over 15 injunctions in his first 100 days—more than Biden saw during his entire four-year term.

Justice Gorsuch Called It “Gamesmanship and Chaos”

Here’s the playbook: liberal groups forum shop for friendly Democrat-run courts, find one activist judge, and demand rulings that impact all 50 states.

The result? Policies you voted for are stopped by people you never elected.

That’s not democracy. That’s Lawfare 2.0.

The Solution: The No Rogue Rulings Act

We need to stop this judicial abuse. Congress must pass the No Rogue Rulings Act—a bill that does one simple thing: restores constitutional limits on judicial power.

Judges would be required to rule only on the parties before them—no more, no less. No judge in Manhattan should be able to dictate policy for ranchers in Texas or small business owners in Iowa.

It’s Time to End Rogue Rulings

✅ Restore the separation of powers

✅ Rein in activist judges

✅ Defend the America First agenda

Tell Congress: Pass the No Rogue Rulings Act.
