Statement on House Republicans Energy Plan – “Will Help Unleash American Energy” as opposed to “more finger-pointing and inaction.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) issued the following statement from former Secretary of Energy Rick Perry, Chair of the Center for Energy Independence:

“Under President Biden, the American people have felt the pain of soaring energy prices that are the direct result of the Biden Administration’s war on American energy. Americans need a real plan for affordable, reliable, and secure energy, not more finger-pointing and inaction from the current administration. The plan from Leader McCarthy’s Energy Task Force will help unleash American energy, lower prices, and drive us to prosperity. We’ve done it before, and we can do it again.
