T.W. Shannon Joins AFPI as Senior Fellow
Washington, D.C. - Today, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) announced that T.W. Shannon will join AFPI as a Senior Fellow for Transportation and Infrastructure at the Center for American Prosperity.
Shannon brings a proven track record of implementing the America First Agenda to AFPI’s distinguished economic team.
Shannon became the youngest Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives and the first Chickasaw and African American to hold the position. In that role, he advanced common-sense solutions that uplifted minority communities, such as repealing affirmative action and overhauling Oklahoma’s welfare system.
After leaving the legislature, Shannon served as Chief Executive Officer of Chickasaw Community Bank, which is solely owned by the Chickasaw Nation. During his first year as CEO, he grew the bank 45%, and it now has nearly half a billion in assets.
In his new role, Shannon will focus on fixing America’s crumbling infrastructure and advancing the American First policies that enhance the prosperity and freedom of all Americans. As a frequent guest on Newsmax and Fox News, Shannon is an expert on bringing the America First Agenda directly to the American people.
