Andrew Cuff, Ph.D.
Senior Policy Analyst, Higher Education Reform Initiative
Andrew Cuff, Ph.D., is a Senior Policy Analyst at AFPI's Higher Education Reform Initiative and Center for the American Worker, as well as a Senior Fellow for AFPI's Pennsylvania Chapter. A former academic historian, he earned a PhD from Catholic University in 2018 and developed a body of peer-reviewed work on the history of university education. After teaching undergraduates at two different colleges, Andrew left the academy to pursue a career in policy advocacy and communications consulting, starting with supporting campaigns on school choice, workplace freedoms, and American energy independence at the Commonwealth Foundation. Then, as Communications Director at Beck & Stone, he consulted and led campaigns for over 100 prominent institutions and individuals who shared the firm's mission of American political and cultural renewal. Andrew lives in Pennsylvania, where he and his wife homeschool their five children.
