Kristen Ziccarelli

Director of Global Coalitions and Senior Policy Analyst for Homeland Security & Immigration

Kristen Ziccarelli grew up in Germany, Slovenia, Boston, Chicago, and Virginia, and serves as the Director of Global Coalitions & Senior Policy Analyst for Homeland Security and Immigration at AFPI. She has served at AFPI since 2021 in different roles, starting as the second-ever intern hire. Kristen interned in the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs in 2020, where she helped coordinate between state and local leaders during the pandemic. Kristen also served in the U.S. Embassy in Berlin, Germany for three summer terms. She has completed fellowships with Alliance for Defending Freedom, the Claremont Institute, the Faith & Reason Institute, The Public Interest Fellowship, the Hudson Institute, Hertog Foundation, Heritage Foundation, and the Alexander Hamilton Society. She attended the University of Edinburgh in Scotland for her Master’s in International Business and received Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Finance at Christopher Newport University. Kristen currently resides in Washington D.C, and in her free time, enjoys fitness, traveling, photography, playing classical piano, sacred music, and giving tours at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.
