Direct Marketing Manager

Development Department

Overall Responsibility:

The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) is seeking a skilled Direct Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing direct marketing plans for AFPI, primarily focusing on the acquisition and retention of donors through mail and digital channels.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and implement comprehensive direct marketing strategies to acquire and retain donors for AFPI.

• Plan and execute direct marketing and digital campaigns, including list selection, creative development, production, and distribution.

• Collaborate with the Development, Digital, and Communications teams to create and execute marketing plans.

• Analyze and report on the performance of direct marketing campaigns to assess the most effective means of acquiring new donors.

• Manage relationships with external vendors, including printers, mailing houses, and digital firms.

• Monitor the direct marketing budget to ensure cost-effective campaigns.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve direct marketing efforts.

• Clearly champion AFPI’s servant leadership culture.

• Effectively advocate for AFPI’s principles and recommendations in public settings.

• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full Time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in direct marketing or a similar role.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

• Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
