The applicant should be eager to challenge legal precedent and convention in the service of both.

  • Working with outside coalitions and stakeholders to pursue common litigation goals and building relationships with important outside groups to advance AFPI’s mission.
  • Championing AFPI’s servant leadership culture with a leadership style that supports others, promotes a positive team culture, and encourages growth and success.
  • Undertaking complex litigation and advocacy with little guidance.
  • Identifying litigation opportunities and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to advance CFL's legal goals.
  • Researching and drafting pleadings, briefs, and legal memoranda.

  • Consulting with CFL's Senior Leadership and Policy Center Directors to propose new cases and identify litigation pathways that defend and preserve America First principles.
  • Building strategic and effective relationships with local counsel across the country.
  • Identifying key stakeholders and coordinating with AFPI leadership, including engagement and development teams, to ensure targeted, effective outreach and collaboration on key policy priorities to maximize impact.
  • Supporting generally the needs of CFL and AFPI where necessary.
