Scott Turner is from Richardson, Texas, and served as Chair of the Center for Education Opportunity at the America First Policy Institute. Turner is an accomplished businessman, motivational speaker, and former professional football player who previously served as the White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council (WHORC) Executive Director.
America First Nomination: Brooke Rollins
Brooke Leslie Rollins is originally from Glen Rose, Texas, a small agricultural community characteristic of much of the American heartland. She grew up working summers on her family’s farm in Minnesota, helping with corn, potato, and soybean crops. During the school year in Texas, she barrel raced and raised animals for 4-H and Future Farmers of America (FFA).
America First Nomination: John Ratcliffe
John Ratcliffe’s career in public service is routed in his commitment to national security, most recently serving as the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) under President Donald Trump. In that role, Ratcliffe served as the leader of the U.S. intelligence community and principal intelligence advisor to the President from 2020 to 2021.
America First Nomination: Pete Hegseth
Pete Hegseth, a former military officer, author, and Fox News host, combines a distinguished record of service and advocacy with a passion for public discourse. Born and raised in Forest Lake, Minnesota, he graduated as valedictorian of his high school class before earning a degree in politics from Princeton University and a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
America First Nomination: Doug Collins
A native of Gainesville, Georgia, the Honorable Doug Collins saw public service modeled by his father, a Georgia State Trooper, and mother, who provided care to local senior citizens. Collins earned a political science and criminal justice degree from the University of North Georgia.
