    • Establish an unprecedented conservative Hispanic movement and educate others on America First policies which guarantee prosperity, upward mobility, safety and security, and opportunity for all.

PURPOSE OF HISPANIC LEADERSHIP COALITION

JOIN THE COALITION

A new conservative, America First movement is building – and leading the formation of this new governing philosophy are Hispanics yearning for the American Dream they so much want to realize. Hispanics are increasingly supporting America First policies that better align with their values and celebrate their innovative spirit and love of democracy. These policies have allowed Hispanics to advance their education, seek gainful employment, start new businesses, and contribute to the success of our country.

Hispanics are vital to our economy, with more than $2 trillion in buying power, and are projected to account for 78% of new U.S. labor force growth over the next decade. They champion the creation of jobs and new businesses, seek to advance their education, and are inspired by what we can do as a country to guarantee prosperity and upward mobility for all. Hispanics have also become an important influence in American politics, with an estimated 36.2 million eligible to vote in 2024. Expected to account for one quarter of the U.S. population by 2050, Hispanics are now at the center of the American future.

As we observe the rising tide of enthusiasm among the Hispanic community, it is evident that America First principles will continue resonating across their diverse backgrounds. We recognize and celebrate the diversity of our Nation, and the fact that the Hispanic community is embracing America First policies underscores its universal appeal. The America First Policy Institute and its Hispanic Leadership Coalition believe that fostering this support is vital for the continued success of America First policies that prioritize the well-being and prosperity of every American.

In October 2022, the America First Policy Institute, America First Works and its coalition partners joined forces to host the Hispanic Leadership Conference in Miami, Florida. This historic event gathered more than 150 of the country’s top conservative Hispanic leaders to chart an action plan focused on empowering the Hispanic community and equipping leaders with the tools and resources necessary to establish the greatest conservative movement ever seen. The Hispanic Leadership Coalition, chaired by AFPI board member and Goya Foods President and CEO Bob Unanue, was then created to build long-lasting, meaningful relationships with the Hispanic community and co-create solutions that provide for a brighter, more prosperous future for all.

Hispanic Leadership Coalition board members include:
Brooke Rollins, Bob Unanue, Pastor Mario Bramnick, Rafael Béjar, Kevin Cabrera, Sara Carter, Steve Cortés, Abraham Enriquez, Rick Figueroa, Hon. Mayra Flores, Astrid Hajjar, Ashley Hayek, Jenny Korn, Syddia Lee-Chee, Jorge Martinez, Hon. Danny Perez

Kamala Harris’ War On Food Prices Is An Assault On Freedom

Vice President Kamala Harris recently rolled out a proposal to tackle food prices, framing it as a response to “price gouging” by grocery stores and producers. This proposal is not just flawed, it is a classic example of overreach by the left that seems more interested in expanding bureaucratic control than addressing the real issues.

U.S. Complicit in Child Trafficking Under “Border Czar” Kamala Harris

In the shadows of our nation, a grim reality persists. More than 525,000 unaccompanied alien children have fallen prey to human traffickers at our southern border, their futures sold for profit in a $150 billion-a-year industry. This inhumane trade has surged under the Biden-Harris administration which lost contact with more than 85,000 illegal migrant children released to poorly vetted adult “sponsors.”

Biden admin has failed Hispanics

In 1903, my grandfather Prudencio Unanue — like millions of immigrants — embarked on a journey to America with a suitcase full of dreams. He opened a small grocery store in Manhattan, which he transformed into Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States. This is a testament to the American dream, which flourished alongside the Hispanic community.
