America First Demands Congress Secure Our Border Before Other Nations

 WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) released the following statement after the House of Representatives passed a series of foreign aid funding proposals.

“America First strongly supports defending our allies in Israel and Taiwan, while calling upon Europe to continue to assume greater financial and military responsibility for defending its neighbor in Ukraine against unwarranted Russian aggression,” said Chad Wolf, Executive Director of AFPI and former Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. “What remains is this Administration not solving our Nations greatest national security threat, our unsecured southern border."

AFPI believes there is an urgent need for real border security solutions as opposed to the Biden’s Administration’s strategy of processing and transporting more illegal aliens into our country. The strongest possible policy solutions that address the worst border crisis in American history would be Senate passage of the Secure the Border Act passed by the House in 2023. Protecting our border first is America First.
