Biography
Pam Bondi, a native of Tampa, Florida, serves as Chair of the America First Policy Institute’s Center for Litigation and Co-Chair of the Center for Law and Justice. A trailblazer with more than 18 years as a prosecutor, she became Florida’s 37th and first female Attorney General, tackling issues like Florida’s reputation as the “pill mill capital” by successfully advancing reforms to shut down unscrupulous doctors and clinics. In 2017, Bondi also served on then-President Donald Trump’s Opioid and Drug Abuse Commission, working on drug prevention, interdiction, and treatment efforts. A strong advocate for the First Step Act, which was signed into law in 2018, she championed reforms to help formerly incarcerated individuals reintegrate into society and reduce recidivism. With a steadfast commitment to public safety, justice, and second chances, Bondi is well-prepared to serve as America’s next U.S. Attorney General.
