January 13, 2025

Biography

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., a renowned environmental advocate and lawyer, has dedicated his career to protecting natural resources and public health. Kennedy is committed to working with President Trump and Congress on ways to implement liberty-centered methods for improving public health by working to curb environmental pollution that affects important health sources like drinking water, harmful chemicals in every day products, and low produce standards. As the founder of the Waterkeeper Alliance, the world’s largest clean water advocacy group, and Children’s Health Defense, focused on childhood chronic disease and environmental exposures, Kennedy has led groundbreaking efforts to address environmental and health challenges. Recognized as TIME’s “Hero for the Planet” for his work restoring the Hudson River, he has won significant environmental cases across North and Latin America, including high-profile lawsuits against Monsanto and DuPont. An advocate for indigenous rights, Kennedy has also championed legal and treaty protections for native communities. Born into a political family, Kennedy has a lifelong public affairs career by proxy but made the decision to dedicate his career to public health more than 40 years ago. An award-winning writer, his publications include Crimes Against Nature and The Real Anthony Fauci, with articles featured in outlets like The New York Times and Rolling Stone. A graduate of Harvard, the London School of Economics, and the University of Virginia Law School, Kennedy also taught environmental law at Pace University from 1986 to 2018.
