Former Acting Secretary Chad Wolf Applauds Supreme Court Upholding Use of Alien Enemies Act
Washington, D.C. – Today, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) released the following statement from former Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf, Chair of the Center for Homeland Security and Immigration following the Supreme Court’s decision to allow the use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport dangerous criminals:
“President Trump has made it his number one priority to secure the border, defeat the cartels, and remove criminal aliens from American communities. Tonight’s decision regarding the use of the Alien Enemies Act marks a significant victory in the fight against terrorists and cartels that were allowed into our country by the previous administration’s disastrous policies.
The Trump Administration has rightly indicated that they will use any legal authority available to protect Americans. Unfortunately, in recent weeks, partisan judges have repeatedly attempted to usurp the lawful power of the presidency to identify and remove terrorist organizations from our streets. This Supreme Court ruling will allow the Trump Administration to do what they were elected to do: protect and defend the American people.”
