Statement on the Anniversary of the October 7th Attack on Israel
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The America First Policy Institute released the following statement from Lt. General (Ret.) Keith Kellogg on the anniversary of the horrific October 7th attack on Israel:
“One year ago today, the world watched in horror as Hamas carried out a brutal terrorist attack on Israel, marking a day of violence that shook the international community. This atrocity was precipitated by weak foreign policy decisions by the Biden-Harris Administration, whose easing of sanctions on Iran and chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan sent a dangerous message to our adversaries: American leadership is in retreat.
In the year since, the repercussions have been devastating. Antisemitism has surged across the U.S., especially on college campuses, with the administration failing to take meaningful action against this rising tide of hatred. Additionally, the Biden-Harris Administration’s inability to secure the release of the four American hostages still held by Hamas underscores a disturbing lack of political capability. On this solemn anniversary, our hearts and prayers are with the families — both American and Israeli — who remain without their loved ones. We stand in solidarity with them and demand stronger leadership to bring these innocent people home and confront the rise of antisemitism and terrorism.”
