"Today marks the 4th anniversary of the historic Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) President Donald J. Trump signed into law. The landmark legislation was foundational to the transformative America First economic agenda that drove the United States from malaise to historic prosperity that extended to all Americans—especially lifting up our most vulnerable and oft-forgotten Americans by reducing poverty to record lows and producing record high income gains. We celebrate this achievement today, but recent misguided federal policies and proposals threaten to undermine TCJA’s legacy. We will continue to fight for policies that are proven to produce prosperity for American families, businesses, and workers."
