AFPI Announces Addition of Whitaker as Co-Chairman for AFPI’s Center for Law & Justice

October 29, 2021

Today, America First Policy Institute (AFPI) announced its newest addition—Matthew Whitaker—as AFPI’s new Co-Chairman of the Center for Law & Justice. Whitaker will serve alongside former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.
“AFPI is fortunate to have former Acting U.S. Attorney General—Matt Whitaker—join our all-star team,” noted Brooke L. Rollins, AFPI’s President and CEO. “He is a true American patriot, and he has spent his career working tirelessly to uphold the rule of law. For far too long, the ‘defund the police’ and ANTI-law and order movement has created a resentment towards law enforcement which ultimately is making our communities and families less safe. Matt understands that these ‘America last’ policies do not work, and this dangerous belief in lawlessness puts every single American citizen in harm’s way.”
Upon joining AFPI, Whitaker noted, “It’s a great honor to work with AFPI to advance the rule of law and freedom—the very bedrocks of our democracy. But we have our work cut out for us as the radical Left tries to teach that order is evil and oppressive and must be defunded or eliminated. This dangerous way of thinking is leading to rampant crime in our communities. Fortunately, citizens outside of Washington realize this and are tired of the elites pushing for these radical policies. I’m grateful to be joining with AFPI and work with an organization that has proven they have America’s best interests and safety at heart.”
“With rising crime sweeping our country and radical policies being pushed daily by the Left, it’s essential we have leaders like Matt Whitaker to fight for law and order across America, and I can’t imagine a better individual to join me in leading that charge,” shared Pam Bondi, AFPI’s Co-Chairman of the Center for Law and Justice. “Matt understands what it takes to create policies that protect American families across our Nation, and I look forward to working with him to do exactly that.”
