“On this July Fourth, America truly has something to celebrate — 245 years since our Nation’s Declaration of Independence.  This fateful date changed the course of not only our Nation’s history, but that of the rest of the world’s as well.  

Here at the America First Policy Institute (AFPI), we understand that now more than ever before we need to remember and celebrate the values upon which our Nation was founded.  For this reason, AFPI recently launched our Center for 1776, which works to affirm and celebrate America — not as an aesthetic act, but as a moral statement. Our work aims to promulgate American values in our educational institutions and through our Nation’s citizens — not as a look back at the past, but as the foundation of our future.
