STATEMENT: SCOTT TURNER ON ARIZONA SCHOOL CHOICE LAW

WASHINGTON, D.C. –  Today, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) released the following statement from Scott Turner, Chair of the Center for Education Opportunity at AFPI:

“No one knows the needs and interests of a child more than their parent or guardian. Today, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey signed into law the most expansive school choice program in the Nation. Now, Arizona families can choose the best schooling option for their children, regardless of zip code. The enactment of H.B. 2853, the Empowerment Scholarship Program, provides new school choice options and hope of a brighter future for 1.1 million K-12 students in Arizona.”
