Madison Alexander
Director of Donor Communications
To be kind is more important than to be right. Many times, what people need is not a brilliant mind that speaks but a special heart that listens.
- F. Scott Fitzgerald
Madison Alexander is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and serves as Director of Donor Communications. Madison has worked in political communications both on and off the hill. Before joining AFPI, Madison served as Digital Director for U.S. Sen. Hagerty, where she translated his voice and policy priorities into compelling content. For the '22 Georgia election cycle, Madison was Director of Accounts at Battleground Strategies—leading the firm's media relations and debate prep. Her first role in Washington was serving as U.S. Sen. Barrasso's photographer at the Senate Republican Conference. Madison has a Master's degree in Strategic Communications from Liberty University. She went to Samford University for her undergrad studies, double-majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations and minoring in Hebrew and Musical Theatre. Madison has always had an immense passion for fine arts. She studied theatre at a conservatory from kindergarten until college graduation and was in several films. Along the way, she learned from Burt Reynolds, John Travolta and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Her favorite musical is Into the Woods. Although Madison no longer performs, she still enjoys watching stand-up comedy, visiting the Kennedy Center, and listening to classical music
