Travis Shirkman

Travis Shirkman is from Williamsburg, Virginia, and serves as the Director of Donor Relations at AFPI. Shirkman previously served as the Senior Assistant to the President for Donor Relations at The Heritage Foundation where he worked with major gift donors in the Northeast and Southwest regions of the country. He holds a degree in Criminal Justice and Strategic Intelligence from Liberty University, along with a master’s degree in International Relations. He is married to Juliana, a California native, and overly proud of his Golden Retriever, Maverick. He enjoys golfing and cycling in his spare time. Growing up in Williamsburg Virginia, Shirkman fell in love with the history of America and the founding principles that make this country great and worth fighting for every day.
