America First Policy Institute Launches Ohio, North Carolina State Chapters; Expands Team in Arizona

January 31, 2025

Washington, D.C. — The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) today announced an expansion of its state chapters with the addition of three new leaders in Arizona, North Carolina and Ohio. These hires are a major milestone in strengthening AFPI’s nationwide policy network and furthering its mission to put America First in every state.

Kimmie Dillon brings leadership skills to the Arizona Chapter as executive director. A Scottsdale native, she worked with America First Works and served as a Deputy Registrar in Maricopa County.

Kevin Daniels will take the helm as executive director for the North Carolina Chapter. He has more than 15 years of experience and leads Array Community Development Corp. and Array Strategies, specializing in strategy, workforce development, and community engagement.

Emily Moreno steps into the role of executive director for the Ohio Chapter. She has a strong background in political strategy, having raised funds for Ohio’s Senate race and worked with the Trump Victory team.

“These leaders are proven advocates for America First values, and I’m confident they will drive meaningful change in their states,” said Ashley Hayek, executive vice president at AFPI. “Our mission is clear: Empower states with policies that prioritize American values and ensure their role in safeguarding our nation’s future.”

Hayek said these appointments are integral to AFPI’s state-chapter initiative, which is already making an impact in Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and California. AFPI intends to open more chapters in the months ahead.
