Kellyanne Conway Praises Utah Legislature for Advancing School Choice for All Students

WASHINGTON, D.C. During National School Choice Week, Utah’s legislature took a major step toward providing parents with the opportunity to choose the school that best meets the needs of their children. Today, the Utah legislature passed a bill that would provide the families of nearly one million children in 163 school districts with education choice. If signed by the Governor, Utah would join 31 other states that have passed similar measures. America First Policy Institute’s (AFPI) Chair of the Center for the American Child and former Senior Counselor to President Trump, Kellyanne Conway, issued the following statement as the school choice bill heads to the Governor’s desk:

“Every American child deserves a quality, affordable education, and parents have a fundamental right to have a say in where their children go to school and what they are taught. The Center for Education Opportunity and the Center for the American Child at the America First Policy Institute will continue to engage with governors and state legislatures to ensure 2023 is known as the year of educational freedom.”
