Natalie Leaman
Graphic Designer & Project Manager
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
- Proverbs 3:5
Natalie Leaman grew up in northwest Indiana and serves as Graphic Designer and Project Manager at AFPI. She has 20 years of experience working in both digital and print design and has spent her time specializing in information graphics. Previously, she was a senior digital designer for a healthcare consulting company, where she supported internal client deliverables, external marketing efforts, and website design and development. Natalie also ran and operated her own business for four years. During this time, she provided graphic design services as a subcontractor for prime consultants on various contracts within the engineering and consulting industries that directly supported government entities. Natalie also spent eight years leading an in-house graphic design department for an aviation consulting firm. During this endeavor, she supported the firm’s multiple offices around the world with her design skills and ability to communicate ideas in a dynamic visual manner. Working in the healthcare and engineering industries rather than in a sole design community has helped Natalie develop unique design skills. Natalie spent her freshman year of college on a Division I scholarship to run cross country and track at Charleston Southern University. After a challenging year of being a student athlete and living away from family, she returned to Indiana, where she graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communications Design. She now lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, with her husband and three children. If her kids ever give her free time, she can be found knitting, crafting, or weather permitting, golfing, fishing, hiking, and enjoying the sun poolside.
